Advent - Day 1

I'm joining in with Julie over at

and posting a photo a day during advent.

My first photo is of Master Madaboutbags' advent calendar, not only does it contain chocolate but it lights up too.

I miss the simplicity of the calendars from the 70's with their pretty Christmas pictures, does anyone know if you can still get them?

If you would like to join in then pop over to Julie's blog for more information.

    1. Ha! Ha! How funny, maybe you'll have to get her one, they seem to do lots of different ones now, aimed very much for adults!

  3. What a gorgeous calendar. Never seen one like that. Yes, was only thinking of the fabric calendar I made our grandsons and remembering how I had to make the little pockets bigger as it got harder and harder to find small things other than sweets.
