I'm still having a few problems with uploading photos so I'm using my trusty iPhone at the moment. Today I popped into one of my local charity shops and picked up this super book on Appliqué Art. I'm still very much a novice when it comes to free hand embroidery so this should come in very handy.
This is a short and sweet post as I'm now sitting down with a cup of tea and enjoying my guilty pleasure of watching Big Brother. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but as a big people watcher I just can't resist. I have some new makes to share with you soon. And don't forget there is still time so sign up for the Strawberry Swap.
Great find!
ReplyDeleteLovely looking book. Hope you are enjoying your guilty pleasure, it is good to have a few of those isn't it!
ReplyDeleteIt's great when you come across something really good in a charity shop, I rarely do but it makes it all the more exciting when it happens. I used to watch Big Brother when it first started but it's got silly the longer it's gone on, it seems they choose the most outrageous people they can find as they want to shock the viewers, and going by what's been in the news, it seems they've gone as far as they can go this time. I can understand how it's addictive viewing though.
ReplyDeleteOooooo- great find!

Hello Tracy! You go girl, guilty pleasures make life worth living! On our recent quilt group weekend away that book was in the middle of a group of swooning women. I forgot to have a look. Am assuming it is ok if I pop in for a cup of tea and take a squiz at yours? Sue x
