Cracker Swap Reminder

Hi Everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your festive preparations!
This is just a quick reminder post about the cracker swap

I know some of you have already received (me - I will blog about it shortly - thanks Belinda) and sent your crackers and some (me - again - will be with you very soon Debs) are still working on yours.

I know it's a busy time of year but can I just ask that you make contact with your swap partners either to swap addressees or just to let them know how far along you are and when your parcel is likely to be sent and most of all enjoy and have fun.

xxxxxx

Advent - Day 6

A pyramid of chocolate oranges.
I have to confess there were a couple more but we have already eaten those. Hopefully these will last until Christmas Day!!

Advent - Day 5

I know, I know I'm behind again but homework and mock revision is more important at the moment I'm afraid!!

We have had this set of little soldiers on our tree for many years and I couldn't resist a photo if this little drummer boy.

Advent - Day 4

Tomas came home from school today, promptly took his sock off and asked me to draw round his foot!

I had a rough idea of what he was making once he asked to to draw round his hands too…..

can you guess?

Apparently they have been making Christmas decorations in class and he wanted to make some more.

Cute aren't they.

Advent - Day 3

I will not get behind with my photos, I will not get behind with my photos, I will not get behind with my photos…….(do you think if I keep repeating this mantra it will work!)

I wanted to post this last night but ran out of time so here is yesterday's photo which I took on the way home from a carol service at the local church which Rachel's school choir were singing in.

Advent - Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of my advent calender posts.
Today Paul and I went to watch Tomas in his nativity play "Donkey For Sale" where he was playing Alfie the donkey who takes Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem. He managed to still look super cute even though he was dressed as the donkey from "Shrek"!
I was hoping to share a photo of Tomas in his donkey costume but because I can't crop all the children out (online photography rules) without chopping off his ears or leaving half their faces in I thought I would share this photo instead.

Advent - Day 1

It's been a busy weekend with two birthday parties to attend and a Christmas tree to put up.
I can't believe how long it took us to get the tree finished today, but finished it is!
Okay I admit there might be a little tweaking going on over the next few days as Tomas helped and some of the decorations got bunched together. Apparently three decorations on one branch is the latest craze, can't see it catching on myself!

So here is our tree - we go for the more is more approach and put it all on!!

The older two said it looked the same as last year, but then again I guess it would!

I hope you enjoyed opening door 1 of my advent calender.

I'm joining in with Julie and Josie-Mary in sharing our advent calenders,
