Tomas came out of school yesterday beaming and proudly holding a silver trophy. He had been awarded the politeness and courtesy cup out of the whole school for his always smiling face and always using his manners by saying please and thank you. He has been dutifully polishing his trophy and has even gone to bed with it tonight.
Apparently he didn't realise he had won the weekly award and his teacher had to tell he to go up and collect it. I overheard him telling his big sister that everyone kept coming up and saying well done.
Here is a photo of him with his cup after a cooling down in the sprinkler.

Fantastic a moment to cherish. He deserves it for being so good.
ReplyDeleteHe looks so happy in the picture.

How fantastic! He looks delighted! Does he get a little cup to keep or a certificate too?
ReplyDeleteAw, that's so sweet - and as his mummy you have every right to be proud of raising such a polite little chap, well done!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday,

That is wonderful and proves how well he has been brought up.

Isn't that just wonderful Tracy!!! What a darling! I have to say its lovely to hear a polite child. There are far too many quite young ill-mannered children around for whom I blame their parents not teaching their kiddies what good manners are all about and just how far it will get you later on in life.
ReplyDeleteYou must feel very proud :-)
keep well
Amanda :-)
Ah that's such a lovely achievement and no wonder you're proud.
